Rewarding and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence.

what do i need to start?

- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization).
- Completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months. The Emergency First Response (EFR) course meet these requirements.
- Minimum age: 12 years old.

- Have a look at this medical form to see if you are fit to dive.

how long will it take?

The Rescue Course takes 3 days to complete. One day of classroom theory and two days in-water.

If you are short on time, you can complete the theory beforehand via E-learning, and then do the 2 days practical with us. See more info below.

what will i do?

Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.

You will complete five theory models before practicing ten rescue exercises in the open water, and finally participate in two Rescue Scenarios.

Price includes: Dive equipment, All PADI Material, PADI Instructor Fees, PADI Certification, Lunch, Diver Park Fee, Entrance Fee, Jetty & Admin Fee

If you are short on time or would like to maximize your time in the water then it is possible to complete the PADI Rescue Diver Theory class online before you arrive and take the practical part of the course here. You will need to pay a fee to PADI which is currently AUD257 and can then complete the practical part of the course here with us.
